  • Great place to take kids for some cool models of ships and history of shipping. Schedules for incoming/outgoing ships are nice also. They have a decent little gift shop and big clean bathrooms. A good place to go while waiting for the lift bridge to go up and down, or to view the lift bridge when it's too cold outside.
  • This visitor center is a very interesting place. It is located on the waterfront next to the famous bridge. There is a small museum. Be sure to visit! This maritime exposition done professionally and with love. You will know the dramatic story of navigation of lake Superior and you can visit the ship cabins of different times. This museum will help you understand the distinctive nature of Duluth. Love this place!
  • This is a must see if you are in Duluth. It is a has a small museum but quite interesting. Also the views in the area are septactuar. It's also really an amazing place to visit during the winter if stand the cold!
  • FREE and deserves a visit. Lots of interesting displays (including some interactive components for younger visitors). My favorite was the life size replicas of the living quarters on a ship.
  • One of the more interesting museums I've been to in a long time. Could have spent a lot more time going through all of the exhibits. Lots of detail and very informative.
