  • It was a great hotel to stay at with friendly staff and a welcoming environment. The breakfast was above what we had thought it was going to be. Room's were very clean, well stocked, and they were keep this way during our entire stay. The view of Lake Superior was perfect as well. We will be staying here again and recommending this location to anyone who is going to Duluth to stay.
  • Staff was great. Room was clean. Breakfast was excellent. Didn't use the pool but they had extra towels to use. Ice and drink machines on every floor. Right next to the boardwalk so it was very convenient.
  • Hotel is one of the first when you enter Canal Park off Lake Street. Very friendly staff will welcome you. Rooms are very clean and nicely decorated. Free breakfast in the morning. Free appetizers in the evening. Great location. Just steps away from the lakewalk. Easy walking distance to restaurants, shops and the famous lift bridge.
  • The rooms are quite quiet, despite being on the second floor. The variety of breakfast is great, and the facilities are clean and fairly modern. Night happy hour in the lobby is nice as well. Parking in Canal Park is premium as well, so that's a nice perk.
  • We stayed here for two nights in late March. The location was great. I have 3 boys under 11 so the boardwalk, canal park and Lake Superior out your back door provided all the entertainment we needed. The pool was a good size. I think the chlorine levels were a little high though. I didn't swim and my eyes still hurt. The free breakfast and late checkout were added bonuses. I would stay here again.
