  • I have visited Duluth many times and lived there for a while, and one of my favorite places has always been Canal Park. Lots of different hotels, shops and restaurants to visit for food, gifts, books,...  more »
  • Visiting here on the off season. Great walking paths, well maintained, lots of dining options. I would like to return for pleasure during warmer months.  more »
  • We stopped here in early spring. The kids and I enjoyed hiking along the water. It was a bit too muddy to play at the park. The waterfalls looked beautiful with the last of the snow and ice hanging on...  more »

  • We stayed here for two nights in late March. The location was great. I have 3 boys under 11 so the boardwalk, canal park and Lake Superior out your back door provided all the entertainment we needed. The pool was a good size. I think the chlorine levels were a little high though. I didn't swim and my eyes still hurt. The free breakfast and late checkout were added bonuses. I would stay here again.
  • Great lakes front location. Rooms are large, clean and fresh. Daily service is fantastic. Continent breakfast is incredibly satisfying. Service has been friendly and prompt. Overall great stay and will come again.
  • First tine staying at the Canal Park Lodge. It is well located right at the entrance to canal park, immediately off of the highway. Parking was a bit tight but acceptable. The rooms have a great view over the lake and are well furnished. The decor in the hotel is well done and it is nicely appointed. For how good everything was, i found the breakfast a bit lacking. Walking distance from everything in canal park and many of the restaurants on 1st ave. Would definitely stay there again.
  • Location is key! The interior of the hotel is very comfortable and welcoming. I love the great rooms for gatherings. The hotel is in one of the best locations in Duluth. I can see myself staying here for special events all the time.
  • We will stay here every year, the staff is amazingly kind, they are quick to respond to questions, and the view is unbeatable. You are walking distance to Lake Superior and my daughter and I have swam there many times. The beach is the typical rock beach with many hidden treasures like beach glass if you take the time to look for it. There is a cash bar and plenty of places to get cozy and read, talk or just relax. You're also walking distance to most of the best restaurants in Duluth.
