  • After walking along the Boardwalk, we decided to stop in here. Nice coffee shop with a moderate selection of books. Friendly people.
  • Great coffee shop tucked away in Duck Village. Small and intimate with a friendly staff. Good place to stop in, get some coffee and a pastry. You can pick up a newspaper or a bestseller to relax with ...  more »

  • Quaint little shop. I can always find the perfect gift!
  • Weakest coffee I've had since I can remember! Got it around 1pm on a Sunday. Couldn't drink it. Rather shameful for a place that specializes in coffee as well as pastries (the cinnamon roll seemed day or two old), and books, etc. I give them two rather than one star bc the service is friendly and they have a clean restroom. But I won't fuel up there next time am on my way home from Corolla.
  • One of the best coffee shops in the Outer Banks. Been going here for years now. I recommend the "Mucky Duck".
  • EXPENSIVE by the pound. Reasonable for a cup to go
  • Bottom line, I really enjoyed going here, but it certainly wasn't the best coffee. The coffee was good, but nothing special and the urns were down to the last drop one one of the two times I went. Also, the half-and-half was out. The fancier drinks (coco-duck) were good, probably what they do best. Muffins were also good. It was really crowded, hard to find the garbage, and there were only two small indoor tables... and yet, the atmosphere was authentic and friendly. The funniest part is that I was charged $2 more the second day I went, even though I ordered the exact same thing. Hmmm.
