  • Beautiful at sunset! We walked along the boardwalk after a fabulous dinner at Aqua. Very romantic and great pics!

  • Beautifully peaceful and serene. Loved the walkway and the big porch with the rocking chairs. The shops are great as well as the local food.

  • The boardwalk was very calming to walk on. A great place for a stroll on the water. There is only a few connections to the shops so, don't expect store all over the place. There are places for crabbing and fishing, dogs are allowed.
  • Fisherman on beaches attracting sharks near families swimming. Fireworks, even though it’s not aloud. The beach front properties clearly don’t have rules on light pollution at night. This makes turtle hatchlings go the opposite direction of the water, because the homes are brighter than the moon. Beach Is clean but definitely needs some common sense/ classier improvements.
  • Nice selection of shops… boardwalk is beautiful and gorgeous view of the sound. The coffee and books shop was one of my favorites and my friend ended up buying a pretty ring at one of the stores for a good price.
  • Clean, relaxing, close to nature with amazing views. Kids and adults will enjoy the walk. You will stay engaged with not just the beautiful landscape but also the local flora and fauna. Parking is free as is the walking. Look out for the turtles, as well as birds feeding in the marshes!
  • An awesome place to experience nature..The shops we may be able to see another time..but our trip in March to the boardwalk did not disappoint. If you have health issues be sure to find places to use the restroom before you go. As not many businesses allow the public to use the restroom. While on our walk we did the Duck Donuts verses Donuts on a Stick comparison. My son preferred Duck Donuts while my husband prefers Donuts on s stick. If yall love sweets, why not try both. We were able to see cool scenes and awesome birds. If you are a nature lover, I encourage you to protect yourself from the sun and experience this trek. And the benches that allow you to rest and just relax while enjoying nature allow even those with physical challenges to enjoy the boardwalk.
