  • Booked this hotel months in advance as we were traveling through the area. Thank goodness it was only a one night stay. Upon arrival I entered the hotel lobby to find no check in desk. Finally found s...  more »

  • I stayed here for just one night. The location is convenient to what I was in Dubuque for. I did not participate in any waterpark activities so I cannot comment on that.  more »

  • For the most part, a nice place to stay. The water park is small but fun, although some lifeguards were having more fun than the guests. Restaurant is average and generic. Rooms were decent. River museum next door is worth a visit.
  • I rate 4 stars because we found dog poop in our hotel room. Somebody must have had a dog in our hotel room before us because we found some dog poop behind the curtain which is understandable how the cleaning people missed it. Staff are very friendly and took care of the situation RIGHT away. Its amazing! Very large water-park with lots of water-slides! The hotel rooms are very clean and beds are very comfortable. The river view is so pretty at night and in the mornings. There is a small balcony meant for show but you can kinda step on it (One of the only hotels with a sliding door). There are lots of restaurants and things to do in the area and it is very close to the aquarium.
  • We were disappointed in our stay when we scheduled a last minute get away for my birthday and my son's birthday. On checkout day the hot tubs had been closed. Their liquor license had been pulled but was not announced prior to our arrival- also so no drinks at the pool or hotel restaurant. Several small things added up to us not being impressed for the money we spent. However, when I contacted the hotel about our stay they offered us a complimentary stay. So for that I give 4 stars. It isn't often anymore that it feels the service industry, especially hotels, really values customer service and feedback. I was just hoping they would acknowledge me since so many never respond. To my surprise they offered to make it up to us. Keep up the great customer service because it DOES matter when you acknowledge your patrons!
  • Our kids love going to the water park there. However I will never get a room there again. Last year we got 2 rooms for our sons birthday, the bathrooms seemed like they could use a good scrub and they were kinda gross. Also the hotel made extra charges to our credit card. We called them over and over again left messages, but to this day we still don't know what they are for.
  • Rooms were a bit run down. Setting along the river was nice and restaurant was okay. Kids loved the water park but we definitely felt relieved to get home after our stay.
