  • While on a visit to Dubuque my wife and I decided to visit the Diamond Jo Casino since it was a part of the Boyd properties and, as members of their reward program, we had never been disappointed befo...  read more »
  • Had a great afternoon here. As a casino patron, this one had the loosest slots I've seen in sometime. A couple of good eating spots. Clean and easy parking. The area is interesting and lots of walking...  read more »
  • We went to Diamond Jo Casino for the first time on 9/20/16 and were thoroughly impressed. Huge variety of slot machines and table games, GREAT buffet, reasonably priced. Definitely on our bucket list ...  read more »
  • Nice clean casino. Friendly staff. Lots of gaming options as well as food. Location also had a bowling alley which is neat. The casino tables had higher minimums than some casinos especially roulette that had a min $5 buy in. There are smoke free areas but the overall casino air wasn't bad at all.
  • The Casio is of the new generation so it is more open. Air quality was good on our Wednesday night visit. Slots were mostly dated with a few newer ones mixed in. Definitely not any 2016 released slots here. The table games were lethargic to say it best. Dealers not talking and players following suit. I didn't play much. We did spend $10 and go to the stand up comedy show. It started terrible and then got rolling, well worth the $$. The cocktails were average for the $. PLASTIC GLASSES! It is a shame! I was deemed worthy by a cocktail waitress who brought us real glass! Good place, no hotel? Plenty parking and decent amenities.
  • MMB had been doing a great job getting an assortment of music and comedy acts over the years, it seems they have slacked off a bit in 2016. The venue itself is fantastic, not a bad seat in the house!
  • Was able to play for a while on $100. Got some decent paybacks. Seemed to be a good casino.
  • I fully enjoyed the atmosphere and the tables. 5 dollar minimum black jack tables and some of the best dealers I've had. I'll be going back when I'm in town.
