  • Guide was great and cave is neat-but overall the tour takes a bit longer than we thought necessary. There are a lot of places the guide stopped to talk about a cluster of crystals that looked like 'an ostrich' and then 'a bird but without the head' and several others It just seemed a bit silly but the kids seemed to enjoy that part I guess. Also I guess they stretch out the tour maybe so you feel you got your money's worth? There is a lot of water on the ground, its 52° , and very tight spaces to fit through and duck through. Closed toed shoes and a light jacket you don't mind getting dirty are a must. (I had a white jacket on not knowing I'd be brushing involuntarily against wet clay like walls that left residue on it) Overall enjoyable and great staff! Make sure you have cash to tip the guide!
  • This place was very neat, I would love to do a "wild" cave tour there sometime.
  • Worth the trip to see this beautiful cave! Interesting trivia, wonderful people and worth the 4 hour trip! We are definitely going back! P.S it's a cave, the people that complained about being wet...here's your sign.
  • Crystal Lake Cave was a great tour and money well spent. People who are complaining about getting wet don't understand how caves work. If they were to make it a dry environment they would stop the formation of the cave. Not to mention that would be impossible to achieve. Overall it was a great experience and I highly recommend it. 10 out 10 would do again.
  • "Natural" cave, that has been mined, then dug out 5 feet and concrete poured in it. Pretty sure some of the formations have been moved from other areas of the cave for more wow factor. Not very well managed. Tour guide was OK. Bring rubber boots or you will leave with wet socks.
