  • Incredible dining and olive oil tasting experience. Food is great. Olive oil tasting consists two sessions including introduction of olive oil harvest and processing and tasting. The lecturer is very knowledgeable, nice and kind. The entire session is very informative and entertaining. Great place to stay couple hours.
  • Went to a tour of the olive oil process. They also have a tasting but did not have time to stay for that. Has a great little gift shop where u can buy various varieties of the olive oil they make as well as a nice variety of other products. Also have a place with food. The February freeze wiped out the mature olive trees they had but they have new ones started. Still beautiful place to have educational experience.
  • In planning for our day trip, I thought about checking out an olive orchard. Years ago, I had read about Sandy Oaks olive orchard but never quite made it out to visit. On my search online, I found Texas Hill Country Olive Company in Dripping Springs. The timing might not have been the best since the arctic freeze affected the olive trees. We did see both mission and arbequina a year and a half old olive trees. Under the shade of the oak tree and a breeze, we sat to listen to Cara (one of the owners) share the history of how their family business started. With a brief visit with the resident chickens we headed indoors for the abridged version of the mill tour. Finally understood how extra virgin olive oil is made and not to ever buy light olive oil! After the olive orchard and mill tour, we joined the tasting tour ($10). There were so many varieties of olive oil and balsamic vinegar and flavor profiles similar to wine tasting. I loved getting to combine the balsamic vinegar with the olive oil and tasting with the bread and apple. It was fun shopping at the store. Goodness with making choices though! I knew I definitely wanted their olive-based products. Next time we'll have to stay and enjoy some lunch.
  • My Greek husband and I came in right before they closed Trey was so sweet and helped us out she invited us to come in the next day so of course we did we got there at 10:15 Trey and Carrie immediately greeted us with Beautiful smiles and they welcomed us back They showed true hospitality and were so informative on all the products and history. We ate to our hearts content and we couldn’t tell you what our favorite oil is because they were all our favorites!!! Trey Carrie and Desirae were even willing to take a picture with our traveling buddy chicken Joe!!! We can’t wait to visit again and we will definitely be telling our friends of the hidden jewel we found in Dripping Springs! Tzanis Family & (chicken Joe)
  • Had a fantastic time here, loved doing the tour and the tasting, delicious. Make sure to stay for lunch, We ate pizza which was amazing. Had the opportunity to speak with the owner for about 10 minutes, what a kind man, really love the family feeling he brings to the place. So sad they lost their trees in the freeze last year. Being farmer ourself it broke our hearts to hear the story. They had replanted some trees and we look forward to coming back next time we are in the area. Definitely a must see!
