  • Wonderful swimming area. Not too crowded. Not shaded so bring sunscreen and an umbrella. You can drive down a ramp to unload. Fairly easy handicap parking. Nice hiking trails and a cool rock climbing section. Port a potties are clean as a whistle. Public bathrooms and a pavilion. Clean water!
  • Nice sandy shore with shallow areas for the kids and a few deeper spot for the more experienced swimmers. They only take cash at the entrance booth and are low on change. Also not a lot of shady areas along the river so bring sunblock, umbrellas or some sort of shade. There are a lot of other activities in this huge park, so far I've only been here for the swimming but I plan on coming back for the trails and maybe some rock climbing.
  • This park is beautiful! The hiking trails along the river are beautiful. There is plenty of great rock climbing, and challenging mountain biking. I always love visiting!
  • 5/5! This place is amazing for biking, running, Rock climbing, hiking, horse back riding, swimming and chilling. I like the freedom that the park management allows compared to other heavily regulated parks in Texas.
