Utah is really too cold for this place because it's always windy. But the kids and pre-teens will probably look past those shortcomings. Even if I had little kids and pre-teens, I would not get a seas... more »
Took my four children here and we all had a blast. The pool, lazy river, and slides were all fun, clean and kid-friendly. more »
We unfortunately bought a season pass to Cowabunga Bay. We enjoyed the lazy river and kiddie pool. The problem is when you climb up to the location. Draper gets a lot of wind along that corridor and w... more »

Took a family of 5 for the first time today and we had a blast! We got season passes for around $75 p/pass and we can't wait to use them all summer. I have a 6 year old and 2 year old. Both kids could have been entertained all day. The 6 year old loved all the slides (some were a little slow but it's not such a bad thing depending on the age of your children). There's also a couple different play areas which are perfect for my 2 year old. Also, i thought the concession food was reasonably priced. $8-10 is about what you'll expect to pay for a combo meal and I was able to share with my kids. All in all, a great experience!
It is a fun place to the family. The pools are not too deep so I feel comfortable with my 8 year old swimming around without assistance. The slides are fun but cold, cold water. There is a gradual pool and lazy river for family and a little kid area for more preschoolers. There are tubes for all to use without additional fees. Lots of fun for the kids.
I think their commercials are harmful in promoting you have to look a certain way and your body needs to be "Summer ready". Very poor advertising. I will not be bringing my family here. They should be promoting having fun in the water not being "summer ready" Big advertising fail in my book.
Very cold water need to heat there water slides...been to better water places that heat there slides not worth the money if you just sit in pool to stay warm
It is very hard to find this place when visiting Utah!!!! Having four kids between the ages of eight to three years old and the Internet at the hotel you're staying at is very poor as usual (to many tablets connected) ...we stayed at the Hilton for husband's business trip but we couldn't get any info on Cowabunga Bay .... glad we found info at the lobby and even got a discounted flyer to the aquarium, boondocks and other fun places to go in Salt Lake ..... wish we would have known about this place during our visit to beautiful Salt Lake City 😞😞😞
