  • We were in town for a girls weekend and were lucky to have live music and a famous chef from Hellsfire Kitchens located a mile from our lake house rental. We were impressed with the band and the buffe...  more »

  • We ate at the Blue Door restaurant. NOT a good experience. The "buffet" (used loosely because there was not a good range of items) cost 19.95/each. What we were offered was a couple of chicken items, suckling pig (which was quite picked over by the time we got to it at about 1pm), an indifferent salad, mashed potatoes, dressing, and beans. There might have been one or two items I missed, but I was so let down by the offering that I'm in the midst of trying to forget the experience. None of the food was hot, none of it particularly stood out as good fare. Since we didn't see any posters for the restaurant offering when we stood outside, we figured it would be $10-12 for the buffet. Receiving a bill for $43 was a shock. The food was *absolutely* not worth that much. We would have left a larger tip for the waitress; she did her job fine; but didn't want to be out-of-pocket anymore than we were for such a substandard meal. As to the rest of the "village," we enjoyed our time looking around. The shops offered a variety of home decorating items at reasonable prices; the service was very friendly. We would return for that part, but certainly not the food
  • I have to say that this was probably the best food I've eaten. No lie. The fried chicken dinner for two was simply amazing. The Mac n Cheese that is comes with is so creamy! Fresh vegetables, perfectly portioned. The Small Bite Mighty Meatball was so good we ordered two more to take home! I can't wait to go back.
  • Had lunch there today with a friend, was pleasantly surprised to see/hear/interact with Carly from Nashville. She is a great singer! I always have the"Center-cut Chumbley w/bacon" with the excellent crispy fries. One of my favorite spots! Also, catch the Pratt Brothers when they make their appearance there in the evenings. Truly impressive repertoire and talent.
  • Great atmosphere, great service (waitress was very good), and great pork kabobs. The beer was good too. We'll definitely be back.
  • Relaxing home feel. Food was good. A little pricey
