  • First off, let me say that Downata is definitely one of the cleaner Hot Springs that I've been to. It also has good water slides and a good water temperature. My only complaints against it are that I feel it is always a little busy/has too many people for the size of its pools and that it doesn't really feel like a traditional/rustic hot spring because of the design. The really hot pool-- is basically just a Jacuzzi with spring water. . . it's a good place though. If you're in the area I would stop on by and check it out. I can speak to the campground or lodging-- just the pools and slides.
  • The pools were nice, but we rented the bunk house and we froze! We could not get the furnace to turn on. The beds were really hard mattresses and my husband and I didn't sleep a wink. The park itself was nice, but I don't think for the price that we will rent the bunk house again.
  • What an amazing place! They have just about everything you need to enjoy some time away from work and with family or friends. Play in the pool, race down the slides, soak in the hot pool, camping, excellent restaurant, and much more. They accommodate all size of groups.
  • My wife and I heard about Downata Hot Springs from a friend & decided to call the Tuesday before & book the cabin/dinner deal for that Friday night. Then we ended up needing to cancel the next day. They let us cancel but told us they were going to take the $106 anyway. The good news is we talked it over for a while. They were very professional about it. They ended up only charging us with a cancellation fee. We will still try to get there sometime!
  • Wow, what a great place to spend time. The staff was friendly, the facilities were clean, and family atmosphere were all great.
