  • We had a wonderful time! Kids were 8 and 3 and they especially loved the interactive displays! They were visiting from their home state of Hawaii (with their parents) and lucky for us they were able t...  read more »

  • We went to the Children's Museum on a road trip from ME to CT, because my sons (aged 2.5 and 6) were getting antsy in the car. The museum does not have a large "footprint" but they really make a *grea...  read more »
  • The staff has been a bit unprofessional lately. Be warned if you have out of network membership. I got quite the attitude about it the other day after they have no way of verifying it through their network. They didn't even attempt to make the effort to offering to verifying. Snotty attitude from the employee and luckily the manager there wasn't terrible about it but could've been better. After coming here for few years I feel it's a place for older kids. Yes, you can bring your baby and toddlers but it provides very limited play area for the little ones as far as what they can reach and play with. It is a nice clean place. I just feel they could add more things within all the space they have which feels like a waste. We took our youngest recently and she wasn't really attracted to a lot of things other than the dinosaur area where there are some sands. Again, if you have children 5+ this may a good place but paying nearly $10 per person including adults it's not the place I would want to go often. First time visit is always fun; if anything I would get the family membership so you can use the pass everywhere around the country.
  • I bring my kids on a monthly visit and they still love this place. They change the themes all the time to keep it interesting. Great for all ages
  • This place is great for kids of all ages. There's a nice mix for the older tweens and the young toddlers with a lot of hands on crafts and activities with various themes. Can spend several hours there. They don't have much of a gift shop or options for food, but there is plenty of places nearby. Parking is a little limited at the place, but there is a fair bit of street parking in the area. They do a fun kids party.
  • Great staff, programs, camps and activities! Do yourself and your child and a service and learn about everything CMNH has to offer.
  • We went for our small school end of year field trip. The exhibits were engaging and the space was small enough so we didn't have to worry about the kids getting lost.
