  • We stopped at this market during a recent visit to Dover. It's a combination of a grocery store and a gift shop.......quite an array of unusual items that you probably won't find at other places. Many...  read more »
  • I've lived in Dover the majority of my life, and therefore have been shopping at Bylers for forever. We save SO much money by buying the majority of our groceries here. It's always fun to shop there b...  read more »
  • The new Bylers Store on Rte 8 is no match for the original which had lots of hard to find baking ingredients and other goodies. Now it just a generic supermarket.
  • This is the place if you're in need of spices or dry goods for your pantry. They sell bulk items by pound pricing so nuts, sugar, and even candies are much cheaper than other grocery stores. Just be aware of the frozen or boxed foods, sometimes they are past expiration. Otherwise it's a cute Amish store full of homespun goodness. And homespun ice cream!
  • Can always find some of the best baked goods, and great prices at Bylers! They purchase things in bulk, such as spices, dried fruits, baking ingredients and candies, and then repackage it for sale. Which equals a tremendous savings for their customers! Some of the boxed or frozen items may be around or occasionally past the sell by date - you just have to pay attention. Their deli is awesome, and reasonably priced and I never have a problem finding a gift for special occasions in their country gift/kitchen untensils side of the store! Employees are always super friendly and helpful as well!
  • The Stove Shoppe is part of a bigger store. They have a fresh bakery, a deli counter, lots of bulk items like candy, pastas, grains, herbs & spices, as well as regular things you'd find at a grocery store. Many at discounted prices! Go for the $1 ice cream cone! You won't be disappointed!
  • Byler's is a store we go to for an occasional treat. They have a great variety of candies, fresh baked goods, groceries, kitchen wares, souvenir items, and yes, stoves. It's a great all-around store and well worth a visit.
  • Bargains galore in the grocery section. You never know what will be in stock from day to day. Discontinued or trial products at ridiculous prices. Some examples are name brand cereal for .99 cents, canned goods marked at 30% of store price, and frozen goods at such low prices you will want a bigger freezer. Everyday is different, although I only get there about once a week. Great deli, ice cream stand, and all sorts of home furnishings makes this a must stop.
