Arbor Place Mall, the only regional mall directly serving the growing western suburbs of Atlanta, is located in Douglasville, Georgia, in Douglas County. Opened in October 1999, the mall was originally to be anchored by Dillard's, Parisian, Sears, and Upton's. The Upton's chain folded prior to the opening of the mall, but the contract to build the store was still completed, resulting in a vacant anchor when the mall opened. A home improvement chain named Dekor took over the Upton's site in 2000. The chain folded in 2001 and once again left the mall with a vacant anchor space. In 2003, JCPenney took over the site. The two-level mall has been very successful and was the first to bring upscale shopping to an underserved area. Shoppers previously had to travel long distances to other Atlanta area malls. Rich's, long planned to open at the mall, finally opened as Rich's-Macy's in 2004, one of only two stores signed with the hyphen. In 2005 the Rich's name was dropped, and became just Macy's. Arbor Place Mall was built by and is still owned by CBL & Associates.Along with this, Arbor Place Mall enforces a youth escort policy, known as YEP, stating youths under 17 must be accompanied by an adult on Friday and Saturday nights after 6:00pm. This applied to the entire mall and is strictly enforced.

  • Great selection in fye bam hottopic spencers some times they have an anime store food court is decent
  • I recently visited Arbor Place for the first time which is off of I-20 in Douglasville, GA just a few exits away from Six Flags. Arbor Place has a very unique and almost whimsical architecture. The store options are vast from clothing retailers, home goods, restaurants, and a movie theater. There is also an indoor children's play area. One thing I like that this mall has is a covered drive which is perfect to let people out or load up when it's raining. I realize that Atlanta has a lot of options, some that have higher end stores, but if you are not wanting to deal with the crowds and traffic and the stores you are looking for are at Arbor Place, I would certainly recommend it.
  • This is a really good mall. It has all that I need and want. The movie theater is really good and the atmosphere is friendly. I heard once moving to this area that the mall was at one time unsafe, but I have not had the experience in my years here.
  • This mall sucks lol. I just like sampling the food. Stores in the mall shouldn't be that expensive especially trying to buy clothes for kids. A shirt that is nearly see thru for $14 at one store is ridiculous.
  • Parking when it isn't Christmas is great. Food Court is awesome. Never really too crowded. Updated Victoria's Secret and Bath and Body Works.
