Kings Dominion, a 160 hectare (400 acre) theme park, is home to more than 60 rides, numerous live entertainments shows, and a waterpark. Explore the park's themed "neighborhoods," such as International Street, showcasing European architecture, and Old Virginia, featuring old-fashioned country scenes. The Planet Snoopy area features a number of kid-friendly rides, while rollercoasters such as Anaconda and Intimidator 305 ensure that thrill-seekers are kept on (or off?) their toes. Stay hydrated throughout the day with a refillable souvenir bottle. If you purchase the bottle, you can get free Coca Cola drink product refills during your visit. Save money by purchasing the bottle online beforehand. For travelers who use our online itinerary creator, Doswell holidays become easier to arrange, with trips to the Kings Dominion and other attractions mapped out and timetabled.

Kings Dominion Reviews
Very Expensive for just 5 hours of event. It drizzled off and on a little. The Cornstalkers maze was late opening and no members were there to let anyone know anything. So as we made our way to the ne... more »
Nice get away for family members of all ages, plenty of rides, and a list of foods to choose from. Plenty of activities and games. Went the last weekend of season and there was a large crowd, a lot of... more »
I have been going to King's Dominion for over 25 years now and just finished up my 2017 season there. I also noticed that the landscaping this year was very extensive and really jazzed up the park. I ... more »
I loved this park. I went in mid June and easily got on every ride in a day. The lines were short. I never waited more than thirty minutes for a ride. I did think the rides were kind of rough. They banged me around quite a bit, though they were still extremely fun. The food was low quality, which is disappointing when you pay $13+ for a meal (not including a drink). I would not recommend Hungry Hippo. The hamburgers were comparable to school cafeteria lunch food at six times the price. The park was super clean, with the exception of loose change on the ground (I'm not complaining, though). In the two days I was there, I stumbled upon $0.68 in coins on the ground. One thing I enjoyed about this park is the flat land. I cannot recall walking on a single hill while here. That's a major accomplishment, as I have never been to a theme park without hills. The park super simple easy to navigate, and the park maps located at the entrance of the park are super helpful when it comes to height requirements for rides and which dining locations accommodate certain dietary restrictions. I would recommend Kings Dominion to anyone who enjoys theme parks.
Expensive but worth the cost of admission, especially if you have kids between the ages of 3 and 10. There are tons of family friendly rides in Snoopy land, even for young children. The bigger coasters are great fun for the adults! If you go when the weather is cooler and on a Sunday, the lines are minimal. I imagine the place is an absolute zoo in the summer, so consider that when planning your trip. Food and drink is really expensive. The meal plan is worth it if you are staying all day and have one or two other people to split the food with, as the portions are huge and you can refill every 1.5 hours. The park is clean, well organized, and the employees are reasonably friendly. Just a great time overall!
Omg this place is AMAZING. Love the staff. They ALWAYS double check the safety hardness not once but twice. Good place to take your little ones. GREAT PLACE TO VISIT. Love all of the rides they are fun and high. You should buy a gold pass~ Unlimited visits, Discount of everything you buy, and FREE PARKING ‼️. I love this place I always come at least once a week.
Loved our visit to King's Dominion! We went at the end of August and still didn't have to wait too long for rides or concessions. Compared to UK theme parks this is was a huge bonus! Plenty to do and we easily filled a day. Would love to come back for the big rides once the kids are older as they were too scared to come on them with me!
Who doesn't love a there park. The rides are great, love the coasters. Got the season pass deal last year so the monthly payments are very affordable. Added the dining and drink plan, so worth it if you plan on going more than a few times a year. Food on the plan is great and there's a lot to choose from. Highly recommend it.
