  • 4 Mike hike earlier in the day at Ponderosa State Park woke up some muscles that a hot spring could take care of. A little off the highway down a bumpy road, but worth it. Had seen Burgdorf springs ea...  more »
  • Great, no frills hot spring. All "services" are in a yurt, cash only. Very small changing room, with crates or lockers for your stuff. Porta-potties were clean. Sodas/water and snacks for sale, but I ...  more »
  • As most people know hot springs can range from rustic to little more than glorified swimming pools. Gold Fork is a very well done establishment. The soaking pools are tiered starting at about 108°F do...  more »

  • Place is awesome, the top pool is so hot i could barely stand it like 110. The connecting largest pool is huge, swim-able. The place is clean, with several lower pools and a waterfall that gives the best neck massage ever. I feel like a new man!
  • Great springs ranging from really hot to warm. The road's a bit rough to get there, but scenic along the way. Tip: go during the week to avoid large crowds.
  • I absolutely love this place. The road in is perfect.....keeping in mind that it's in the hills and not paved-perfect. The changing rooms are small- much larger than the car and they are warm :-). My kids always enjoy the snacks for sale for the ride back home. The staff has always been warm and open to sharing their little piece of paradise. Great place to take kids!!!!
  • Cash only! Wonderful spot tucked away in the woods with 5 pools. Peaceful, relaxing and calm. No food or beverages, so pack a cooler and bring it, there are plenty of table. No glass allowed.
  • Large and spacious pools. They are cascaded from very hot pools down to cooler pools. The set up is nice. It costs (at the time of his writing) $8 to enter, but you can stay as long as you like. It is quite a drive up the mountain, but very peaceful once you're there.
