  • This was an amazing area to explore. The history surrounding this homestead is unbelievable and what this woman accomplished in her life was truly inspiring. A must see if you are visiting Dinosaur
  • Neat cabin built by a homesteader around the time of WWI. Amazing and inspiring to imagine this lone woman living off the land here at the end of the road. Read the informative display: there was a LO...  read more »
  • We had a nice visit to this historic cabin. It is amazing that a woman could live alone for so many years in such tough conditions. She must have been a very strong woman. The trip to the cabin is a short walk from the car. It is worth the drive to see how she lived. Take some time to wonder the nearby trails and imagine if you could live like that now or 50+ years ago.
  • Quiet, peaceful and amazing views are at Josie's cabin! See how a lady lived for 50 years with no running water, electricity or sewer. Everything is well preserved, easy to drive to even in the smallest of cars, and restroom facilities are right there on site.
  • The cabin is at the end of the Tour of Tilted Rocks. It's really interesting to see how someone lived off of the land, and to temporarily put yourself in Josie Morris's shoes. There's a bathroom at this location which is really convenient.
  • Don't forget to go on the two short hikes. Trailhead starts at the cabin. Well worth it.
  • Well preserved historic cabin, beautiful surrounding pond, stream, Forrest, and nearby petroglyphs
