  • This is such a beautiful place, no wonder she chose to live here. It's a must see during your visit.
  • We had a nice visit to this historic cabin. It is amazing that a woman could live alone for so many years in such tough conditions. She must have been a very strong woman. The trip to the cabin is a short walk from the car. It is worth the drive to see how she lived. Take some time to wonder the nearby trails and imagine if you could live like that now or 50+ years ago.
  • Nice walking around the cabin grounds, a few picnic tables and cleared paths. A fairly long drive on dirt road to get here.
  • The cabin is at the end of the Tour of Tilted Rocks. It's really interesting to see how someone lived off of the land, and to temporarily put yourself in Josie Morris's shoes. There's a bathroom at this location which is really convenient.
  • Beautiful place. The hike was one of my favorites
