  • It was amazing all the lights and all the sculptures we could take pictures next too. The hotel was great pet friendly and clean. We enjoyed all the stores the food and the arcade. We missed out on the the miniature golfing and the different machines because the closed I think by 8pm but we made up for it at the arcade. we spent 2 months in Florida and two days at South of The Boarder felt like the best part of the vacation. We can't wait until next summer to go back.
  • It was quite different than anywhere else. It was a neat place to visit. The rooms are clean, the security is very friendly & helpful & made me feel that my car full of belongings were safe. The rates were good & the environment of the area is very fun. A great place for kids to see!
  • We counted 54 South of the Boarder billboards northbound on I-95, and did this place live up to the hype? Absolutely, hands down. The $4 my brother and I spent to go to the top of the sombrero shaped observation tower had a breathtaking view of I-95. Also, I caught an exeggcute in Pokemon Go. Great success.
  • Anyone who's had to travel I-95 towards Florida or New York has seen the signs for miles and at night the lights are the dawn of a new day! It's retro tourist oasis times ten. Fun stretch for your legs, great change of scenery for weary travelers, kids can run around, dogs can do their thing and a must for updating your social media accounts!! You also will want to quickly get back to driving. In person this place needs some TLC. The restaurant's and stores need to be revamped because I feel the Pilot Truck Stop's offer more modern and fresher selections. But South of the Border is something different :)
  • I'm from NY and every year for summer vacation we would stop in at south of the border. This year I took my first road trip with my family and they loved south of the border. Great place to stretch out and gas up on a long ride. Love all the Pedro sculptures everywhere along with the others. There souvenir shop is also great and the kids love that as well. I would recommend you stop in and enjoy this great American landmark. Plus the food is good and affordable.
