  • We were in sight 601. Although It was windy there, we were right at the waters edge, had a little market at the pier and we were almost the only ones there. But...the place is in huge need of upgradin...  more »
  • This is a great place to fish off the pier and enjoy the beautiful sunsets. Camping with a group is fun and highly recommended. The beach is right there and there dunes are a lot of fun. The beach is ...  more »

  • You need to check and make sure crab season is in especially the Dungeness they're the bigger and better sweeter crab they have red rock they're pretty good but smaller. They do have a charter boat to go out and get bigger fish, but one of the best attractions is the horse neck clams. When the tide is out you go to the beach and you better be ready to dig because they are fast in the sand, and very elusive. But one of the best tasting clams there is. Famous for their flavor in soup.
  • Nice, open camping area. Easy access to the beach. Beautiful views of the dunes. Some tent spots are very windy due to the lack of trees. I like how close the camping spots are to the garbage cans and port-a-potties. Lots of room for kids to ride their bikes, but no paved roads, so prepare for a bumpy ride.
  • $37 For a tent space shown in the pictures. There isn't much nature/separation between neighboring sites but it didn't seem to bother us. There's 3 porta potties for the sites and a water spout. If you plan on cooking you'll need your own grate or stove, there is only a metal fire ring. It's a short walk to the beach, 5mins or so. The beach itself is clean but on windy days its hard to sit without having sand everywhere. We saw several jelly fish and windsurfers during our stay. Over all a nice area and surrounding area to visit.
  • Love to camp here and go crabbing. Miss the big camping group we use to be able to just camp in a big circle wherever you could find room.
  • Area has potential, but private ownership has sort of ruined it. $10 to go to the crowded beach and $50+ to camp in a run down gravel lot, no thanks. Much better options in the area.
