  • Peaceful Dry camping, very pet friendly, steps from the beach, fire pits. No showers, and only outhouses so be prepared, there is water that you can get at one location.  more »
  • We have been camping at Lawson's for over 50 years. There has been lots of changes the past couple of years, some good and some bad. Our major issue with the current layout is the road. Huge pot holes...  more »
  • Stopped by to check it out but it was rainy and windy so didn't stay long but would have loved to if the weather permitted.  more »

  • This place only gets a second star for location and memories of when it was run better. It is 630 and noise violation for both the campground and county is 8 in the morning and the campsite across from us has been dry revving their boat in the sand for an hour because its low tide and they didnt go to sleep with i far enough out. Here is where my weekend at this place went from higher rating to 2. Went to the fish shop and asked that if not removed they at least get talked to she wrote down their campsite and said I should have known better to camp here in low tide season.. just..wow.
  • Nice place for camping with the family great for flying the kites the sites are pretty close together but real close to the beach completely quiet at night. After about 11 the kids love it a nice Beach to walk down but when reserving a site it says it's full but we saw several sites that were empty
  • Clean and affordable. Depending on what camp site you get will depend on how much water is left standing in it after a rain (Stayed during a rainy weekend). Free range cows are a different feature in a camp ground, kids loved it but cow patties out the door were something else. Friendly staff and we had GREAT neighbors. Come early because once the crowd comes, have fun towing any length of camper into your seemingly narrow site. I gave it a 4 out of 5 stars because I have stayed at better equipped places, that said, I will be back again because of the people and the places around it. Thanks Lawson's Landing for the great weekend and memories.
  • I am a long time resident of Sebastopol and have been coming to Dillon Beach for years. This was my first time camping at Lawsons Landing owned by the Lawson Family for 3 or 4 generations! Mike Lawson and his wife are the current "custodians" of the place and they go above and beyond creating a safe and comfortable place for folks to come and be by the sea. I am new at this trailer camping thing and one thing I have learned is that I will avoid camping a Saturday night ANYWHERE! Not the most peaceful night !!! After the party people left, there were those of us who quietly partied... I did have an issue with my firewood missing but I resolved that with Mike L. and he was king enough to sus out my small problem. The Lawson's are working to make improvements to the facility and being challenged by State and county //// obsolete rules, regulations and personal greed. enough said... I love this place and will be back. Hopefully able to back up my trailer unassisted ~~~~~ better by then!!! diane szczepanski sebastopol, CA.
  • Favorite beach to camp at. Privately owned and well maintained and operated. Make reservations cause they sell out frequently especially on weekends and holidays. Tent and RV camping and dogs are allowed on leash.
