  • Outrageous prices but it can be expected for the only place near a nation monument. Clean bathrooms though and good ice cream. If visiting Devils Tower bring food and drink from home.  more »
  • The owners of the trading post have graciously allowed the walk box to be in their store for many years. They have a wide range of souvenirs, t-shirts, and gift items from which to choose. Also food, ...  more »
  • We had hand dipped ice cream at this quaint location. We used the restroom after a long drive and was pleasantly surprised that it was very clean. They had souvenirs also.  more »

  • Mato Tipila (Bear Lodge) is a sacred site for many Indigenous tribes, yet in the hundreds commemorative souvenirs available I found only TWO items that referenced Bear Lodge: a tiny key chain that you couldn't read without a magnifying glass, and a souvenir patch (which I bought). Oh there is a bunch of mass-produced "Indian stuff" - tomahawks, dream catchers, dolls, etc - all made in China, and pottery that isn't even germane to the tribes in the area; but NOTHING by local artisans and nothing that educates people about Bear Lodge or is desirable for people who want to commemorate their own pilgrimage to this Sacred place. VERY disappointing.
  • Had what I needed and was not as expensive as I expected.
  • Variety of souvenirs able to buy. Nice place.
  • Very cool place!
  • Great staff wonderful souvenirs
