Michigan Science Center Reviews

Let me preface this by saying that we went on the 4th of July weekend, and the center was open for FREE that day, so it was packed. There's definitely a lot to do at the center, and in the 2+ hours we... more »

Our group of two adults, two teenagers & three kids spent five hours here. There certainly was something for everyone. The pendulum & earth exhibit was awesomely displayed. One highlight was the 4D experiences. We found it to be quite expensive but after buying a year's family pass it won't take long for our pass to pay itself off in visits. A cafe onsite means that we didn't have to lug food and water around. Toilets were clean and easy to find.

Special events are always awesome! I thoroughly enjoyed the 1001 inventions exhibit tonight and the bat event they had in October was awesome! I've been pleasantly surprised by something new every time we get to go there!

Bank of America holders get one free admission per card holder here on the first weekend of every month. This place is GREAT for kids as everything is generated towards children.

They advertise the place for all ages, I do find that it is geared almost entirely for children. Although they do have many activities for kids of all ages. I really enjoyed the planetarium and I look forward to seeing the other shows they have. I recently took my 8 year old cousin here for the day to experience the center and the solar eclipse. We had a lot of fun together and I would recommend it to anyone looking for something to do with kids.

Fun for the young ones. Expensive. Don't recommend the 4D
