  • Beautiful old building... classic Detroit. Although it has offices it is worth a walk through to admire the architecture and beauty. There is a cafe, enjoy a coffee!
  • My second favorite building in Detroit, absolutely gorgeous details inside and out. there is also a cute Pure Detroit shop located in the upper lobby.
  • This building is a very imposing one from the outside, but not that beautiful. Once you step in though, you realize this is a special place. The entrance hall is all squarely-designed with vivid color...  more »

  • Really beautiful historic building in downtown detroit, what's not to like? Check out Pure Detroit for free tours
  • This is my favorite building in Detroit. Its so gorgeous! Did you know Detroit is the only City in America to Win City Of Design! That's an international award. Seriously Amazing!
  • Surely one of the gems of Detroit architecture. I try to make it a point to bring visitors to the city into the stunning lobby to showcase how beautiful the city can be, rather than the gritty depictions in the media. It's also a good spot to get some coffee or Detroit souvenirs and take in the atmosphere.
  • A slightly dated but beautiful building from the early 1900s. Built with a blank check from the banks, the interior is both reminiscent of a cathedral while also retaining the acoustics and feel necessary to serve its original intention as a place of commerce. Has a little cafe and a "made in Detroit" store for some unique Detroit swag.
  • I toured this building for free thru Pure Detroit. Fabulous tour and I tell everyone about it!
