  • We waited in a long line for 45 minutes to park at Greektown Casino. Once we got to the front of the line the attendant told us we could only park there if we had a players club card. Really? No sign ...  more »
  • It was great to have casino attached to the hotel. Did not even have to go outside if you didn't want to and a nice distraction when you have some down time
  • Located in downtown Detroit, where it is very crowded with tourists. Las Vegas comparison should not be enough to cool up in Detroit, on a small scale, but the place is unmistakable. Even from a distance the blue appearance of the buildings are visible over interstellar distances, spending time at the Casino nearby cafés and restaurants. A very crowded on the weekends. The building is connected to the hotel, the Casino building bricks. Those five guys hamburgers in front of Rick Town House is only to recommend.

  • Me and my husband enjoyed the verity in games they also have a game finder .That is a plus it was very help full. I did think that it could have been much cleaner. The drink stations are kinda hard to find and none of the stuff the whole time asked if we needed any thing not even drinks. I think they could have had wait staff that made sure people weren't have to go to the bar themselves. So they could do much better in the future I think if they hired people wanting to help the guest
  • My husband had a double lung transplant at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, and unfortunately I couldn't get into the on-campus lodging for a couple of days. I stayed at the Greektown and I couldn't have been more thrilled with the decision! First, the bed is one of the most comfortable hotel beds I've ever slept in. If I could have smuggled it out in my luggage, I would have! The views are amazing; I had floor-to-ceiling views of downtown Detroit that were spectacular from my 21st floor room. And the the staff were exceptionally nice and took excellent care of me. Now that my husband is on the mend, I am planning a short getaway trip for the two of us to the Greektown to celebrate. I WILL be returning!
  • Room was great, on the 29th floor & view was spectacular! Concierge was nice. We received a room credit for eating at Prism. Didn't win a thing, typical. Really wish casinos were smoke free!
  • One of my favorire deteoit casinos, good choice on slots and had afew good wins! Prizm has amazing food! We love it all!!
  • Greektown is always a fun atmosphere, if you enjoy places like new orleans or milwaukee then you will probably enjoy downtown detroit. The reason I mention NO, and MKE is both have an element of sketchy crime areas that gives you the feeling of being just on the edge of a very bad place. Which can be exciting. That being said, inside greektown is smoky and filled with characters you would expect to see in a movie about detroit filmed in the 80's. Everyone seems to have darting eyes, and I saw MORE than 1 guy with a purple suit, top hat, and cane with sunglasses on at night. Which is alot, for 1 location. Overall, good casino experience, cannot comment on the hotel because I haven't stayed.
