  • I use to love going to this only McDonalds as a kid. Now it is a museum across from a rebuilt location. Still set up as it was way back when with old cars out front too. A must see and there are even ...  more »

  • Unfortunately, according to the McDonald’s corp peeps, they are NOT opening up the McDonald's Museum in Des Plaines yet again this year. They used to open the museum a few days a week between Memorial Day and Labor Day for visitors to stop in and look at the mannequins in the original uniforms, the old prices, the original behind-the-counter equipment and the 1955-era cars parked there. No more. It has now become nothing more than a run-down, unmaintained piece of property with a fence around it. Typical of corporate America. Thanks McDonald’s corp, you’ve again ruined something that was once very cool.
  • Cool but stay Croc didn't found mcdonalds If you watch the movie The founder you will see the truth
  • Not Rick but his significant other went to the original Mc D's for a BIGMAC when first introduced in Des Plaines, I'll believe around , 197
  • Funny how this "museum", has just as high of ratings as most Mc. Donald's
  • if you ask for it jon will give you cups of big mac sauce.
