  • This is such a great place to get away for an hour or so. We visited in mid-fall, and it was still enjoyable. There is such a wide variety of plants, from tropical, to orchids, to succulents, to bonsai, and other garden varieties. There are also great views of the Des Moines skyline. I can't even imagine how gorgeous the place must look in the spring and summer.
  • We enjoyed getting out for a good walk here. Our 2.5 year old girl loved the flowers and the outdoor section, not so much the inside due to the temperature but all in all a really good experience.
  • Scenic downtown des moines ❤
  • Beautiful gardens and plants. Really nice gift shop. Friendly staff. At $8 per adult ticket, I'd say this is well worth the visit.
  • Beautiful A Must See... Small exhibit in comparison to Admission price, had expected slightly larger exhibit but still Amazing.
