  • Fun family atmosphere. And every Wednesday during the summer they have an event for adults only. Is always fun to get slightly drunk and look at exotic animals
  • Great place to bring the kids! Lots to see and do. We were able to get up close to many animals. You can ride a camel! Parking can be a bit full.
  • We love this zoo!! I love to walk amongst the birds in the aviary...They fly right by you or walk right past you it's amazing! My fav. Part is the Australian area were the wallabies are...They can hop right past you. It's beautiful at this zoo and they are adding to it with new updates and things to come. We can't wait to come back and visit again.
  • Accompanied our 4 year old grandson to the Blank Park Zoo recently. This zoo is geared more to younger children. Fish displays were small but clean. So sad to see the big cats demonstrating neurotic behaviors. Their enclosures were extremely small and poorly maintained. In fact all the outside enclosures were muddy from recent rains. The mother rhino and her baby looked so sad. Could not see the Giraffes as they were being kept inside to acclimate to their new surroundings. Food at the Safari Grill was just barely edible & very expensive. Found the park/zoo to be very expensive for its size and activities. Won't be going back any time soon.
  • It's a great place to go with little kids, and my boys always enjoy it. I'm subtracting one star because some of the enclosures seem too small or inappropriate for the animals. The otters have a tiny enclosure, and it's all rock and mud, yet there's a large unused "lot" adjacent to them. The bald eagles can't see the sky. And the red pandas love privacy but have precious little way to get it. I think they could do a better job with the enclosures as the standards to which they were built are a tad outdated, and it would also be great if there was more information about the animals. Part of the zoos job is education but the plaques are a tad short. Overall it's a nice place to visit, but some improvements should be made.
