  • Nice exhibits and highly educational. Even after many hours didn't want to leave. Highly recommended  more »
  • Although I consider this more a "guy's museum", anyone interested in flight should enjoy the varied aircraft that is contained within.  more »

  • I came with a large group of kids to this place and the customer service was horrible. There were 14 of us that wanted to do the flight simulator. Its already bad enough that you have to pay $7.50 per person just to do it. So we waited in line just to find out two other people had reservation time which were no where to be found to do the simulator. So the lady that ran the simulator turned down 14 paying customers to wait for two time slots that people had that didn't even show up. I will definitely not be back to this place.
  • I have lived in Colorado all of my life and didn't know about this place. It was very fascinating and love the area around it too. We chose to make a day of it for a little nephew's birthday with lunch, the museum and ice cream after.
  • Stopped in one afternoon while in town. Glad we visited because this is definitely an interesting museum to explore! It was great to see aircraft and the technologies supporting aviation from across the ages. There are some amazing planes in the main room and the staff were very helpful. Spoke with Chuck, who used to fly for Continental, and he shared some great information with my friend and myself about the simulators on display. He was very friendly and happy to share his knowledge with us. If I were to come back to Denver, I would visit this museum again!
  • Brilliant and friendly staff and volunteers. A great way to spend a bay with children. Lots to see and do, with some amazing aircraft. Definitely recommended.
  • Slightly underwhelming if you've been to the A&S museums in DC, but fantastic nonetheless. Greater focus on AF aircraft, though there are some examples of Naval Fighters as well. They also have one of 3 remaining 3/4 scale X-wing models created for the Special Editions in the 90s. Beautiful Memorial to the Airmen lost during WWII, created by a WWII veteran for his buddies. Also a bunch of space memorabilia.

Denver's oldest hotels feature opulent oak furnishings, silver chandeliers, and frescoed walls, as well as spacious rooms packed with high-tech gadgets. If you're planning your visit on a limited budget, consider the affordable hostels and bed and breakfasts located outside the central part of town. Alternatively, you can also stay at one of the mid-range hotels near the airport.
