We went here with another couple. You get two races and the races are usually 10-15 minutes in length. You are racing against time. However, when the course is packed then times slow. When there are l...  more »

We did a staff appreciation event at Unser. Wow, what a great time! We had two qualifying rounds and a final race. Between races, we ate a lot of amazing food and saw the competitive nature of our cow...  more »

Everything is well organized, easy to find, employees are knowledgeable and track personnel are vert attentive. Good food in the tavern and great prices! I didn't do so well in my race. But it was my first time on this challenging course with faster cars. This place is no Boondocks!

Review for the outdoor track and facility at Unser Centennial. THE GOOD: The track is long for karting, adding to the sense of really going somewhere... as fast as you can! The track is technical enough to challenge your skills... and it will keep challenging you... to perfect your lines, to carry more speed in corners, to get a clean exit from the hairpin when you KNOW you went in too hot! :) The track is outside, so there are also elevation changes and cambers adding to the fun. Their regular rental karts are plenty fast for the track. Once you're going fast, you will be completely off the gas ONCE per lap! THEIR STAFF was fantastic! We were two guys on a road trip wanting to race A LOT over the course of two days. I called ahead and spoke to Shane (Manager) who was excited to hear about our plans. Upon arrival he greeted us in person and for the rest of our two days there, Shane and his guys treated us like friends. They were cool to hang out with, happy to answer questions, and seemed genuinely excited to see us improve and get faster! The calm and relaxed atmosphere they create is great. We did 11 races the first day and 6 races the next, for a total of 17(!) races each. You want to feel exhausted in a GOOD way at the end of your day?! Do 11 races in a day! :D My best time on the full track: 1:18.6. My buddy did a 1:19.1. Both respectable times. THE BAD: Some inconsistencies in the karts, with some faster than others. The staff are aware and working hard to create a more even baseline. Some other visitors didn't follow the rules on track. Staff could be better at enforcing rules right away, and be more willing to pull drivers off the course for verbal instructions if needed. I also believe that some immediate feedback after a race would correct some of this behavior, could be easily done when handing drivers their lap-time sheets. OVERALL: A fantastic experience. If you read this review all the way through, then what are you waiting for?! We were so satisfied that we wrote down several names, the key players that made our two days so great. This review, along with the list of names will be sent to Unser management. Dear Unser management, please make sure your guys get rewarded for being so awesome!

Best place ever for go carting! I had a blast, cars go up to 45mph and you actually clock out at that speed. In a ridiculously curvy track i averaged 30mph. Scary at first but overall fun.

Childishly slow go karts for the adults that feel like they are in a fixed 3rd gear or 1:1 ratio on a tiny indoor track with no long straights. Inconsistent maintenance on the go karts, some are slow, some have worn out tires that don't grip as well as the others. The seat belts weren't designed well so the brackets fall into weird nooks and get stuck. They change your car each race so you never get used to anything. The 3 U turns are the slickest part of the track and their solution is to wave flags and tell you "don't spin out" instead of fixing the traction loss of the road or the tires. It hot even though it's an indoor track and you sweat all over the go kart so much that your shirt is wet each race. they have you wear a black sock over your head to protect the helmets but you sweat through the sock because it's so hot on the track. The helmets all smell like a locker room. Definitely not worth the money as an adult. Might be worth it for some kids but they have different karts for them that are even slower so that doesn't seem like it's worth the money either. We had to sit in our karts while a single kid did a couple laps and the kids karts were as fast as power wheels. It might be worth it a 2nd time If you specifically break all the rules and ignore all flags, forget the lap times, pick whatever car looks the best and run into people like bumper cars on the finish lap.

So I paid $143 for a few races between my father and I. They gave me a military discount at the very start. That was cool. After my 2nd race, they stopped me to say they weren't supposed to give me a military discount. The reason, apparently, being is because to qualify, it must be charged to the whole party. And not to each individual service member. Does this even make sense?? I'm not concerned about receiving it or not, but to disturb my group to say I have to swipe my card again to be charged another amount of money is ridiculous. This place charges $21 a race and they are concerned about getting their 10% from me because they didn't organize their policy and employees accordingly? Yup. Thank you for this.
