  • We took 6 teenage boys and 2 teenage girls. We originally thought it would be inexpensive, but ended up being more then we anticipated by the time we bought all day passes and food. The food was gross...  read more »
  • Lakeside Amusement Park might be a little rough about the edges, but it is a jewel in the amusement park world. Instead of paying for gimmicks or franchises, enjoy the simplicity of a spin on the Whip...  read more »
  • No big shiny rides. And most of them are older than the average adult patron. But a relaxed, old fashioned vibe. And perfect for younger kids. Ethnically and economically diverse to boot.
  • Went on Labor Day weekend. Turns out it was the last weekend of the season. Unlimited rides bracelets for $10, or county fair style ride tickets for $0.10/each. No charge for parking, and they let you bring in whatever food you want. Lots of great old shade trees all over. Took a picnic dinner and spent $10 for a great night for a family of five. Admission is $3/person, everything else is what you want to pay for. Old school rides, relatively short lines. It ain't Elitches, but that's not why you come.
  • The park is very dirty, and while it is supposed to feel nostalgic, the park still desperately needs some updates. Some rides are extremely loud, and modern versions of these rides are much smoother. Purchases like food and drinks are usually very expensive. Ultimately, this park is flawed, but still fun.
  • I love going to Lakeside, brings back a lot of childhood memories. Unfortunately, as others have mentioned it's very ran down. I would suggest doing some landscaping and cleaning up the park, maybe even adding a few new rides or restore old ones. Great place nonetheless, just please get new management!! Restore lakeside.
  • Really cool olde time amusement park. With kids, I love paying by the ride so I'm not pressured to ride everything in one visit. Great to come at night when it's cool and all the lights are on. The cyclone is super fun!
  • I remember going here with my brothers as a little girl. My husband and I have taken our daughter and even her friends here. Such a great amusement park. No outrageous prices like Elitches. And you're allowed to have birthday parties wth outside food. Love, love, love this place!!!!
