  • This place is really cool. We have taken school kids there on field trips a couple times and there is a lot to do and learn. Animals to see, we made butter, hose drawn wagon rides and much more, a great place to take the kids.
  • Absolutely amazing place! We will go back and soon. Hope this wonderful historical place stays restored for many more generations to come. It's the whole reason Colorado exists!
  • Went here for daughter's field trip. Very educational, wish staff was maybe a little more friendly ! But a very cool place
  • Great place to showcase the way Colorado pioneers made their lives. Shows how resilient early settlers were.
  • This is a great little historical gem located right in the heart of Glendale (Denver). Admission is reasonable and volunteer tour guides make this an interesting place to visit. Learn about early Denver pioneers and life in Denver's infancy. You can even pan for 'gold' and walk through a trapper's cabin. They have many wagons and horse-drawn farm implements to view, including a chuck wagon to explore. Sometimes they offer hay rides, campfire stories and seasonal events (July 4th, autumn festival) so check out their website. Tip: Take the guided tour for exclusive access to the oldest standing building in Denver (the original residence) as the building and all it contains is off limits to individual visitors.
