Went to Denver on beercation and knew we had to visit this place. It's the kind of craft beer bar that breweries want to be on tap at. They go out of their way to cultivate an amazing selection. We we... read more »
We finished a long bike ride at Falling Rock. The beer selection is one of the best in the country. The bar food is good. If you like beer and find yourself in Denver, this is a must visit.
My friend and I visited Falling Rock for an early dinner one afternoon in September. I had selected the place based on reading in a guide book that they were having happy hour. We were upset to learn ... read more »
The beer is amazing, and they play fantastic music. The waitstaff is rather rude. The amazing thing is that they did last call at 1:20 which I've never had happen to me before, and they threatened via intercom to pick up our drinks if we didn't drink them in 5 minutes. Told everyone to get out at 1:52. I'm astounded. Not sure if the beer is worth it. Also, there's only one bathroom upstairs. Which is covered in pee. Great beer selection, though.
Good service for the most part. The best thing is the selection of beer! So many to choose from. Great go to place DT DENVER.
Favorites at our table were the Tamale plate and the Buffalo burger, by far the best portion was the green chile. It really brought the Tamale's to another level. We also had it on the Buffalo burger and it was a welcome touch. Their Veggie burger wasn't great. It had a grainy texture and without the basil pesto mayo, the burger was quite plain. One of us was vegetarian and dairy free and this burger left something to be desired. Personally I had a difficult time with their on tap beer menu, mainly it focuses on IPA's. It has very few saisons, session IPA's, Gose, German Pilsners, and reasonably priced sours (most were around $20). After leaving, we felt greasy and even though this is a classic pub, it could be better.
Outstanding (and sometimes overwhelming!) selection. Not to worry - helpful and friendly staff 😀👍
Watch your receipt for added tips! I had a bill for $12. I added $3 for tip and signed for total of $15. Looked on my credit card statement and they charged me $18. Not a lot of money but that's pretty lousy waiter/waitress practices!
