Theme Park Water / Amusement Park
A water park and amusement park with over 50 rides, Elitch Gardens also has up-close animal interactions, magical illusion shows, games, and concerts. Ride a roller coaster, get soaked on a water ride, take in an acrobatic show, and view the city from the top of the observation tower. Check out the Brain Drain ride, a seven-story steel-looping roller coaster, and Disaster Canyon, which stimulates white-water rafting. After you've worked up an appetite, indulge in some barbeque or funnel cakes, or something else from one of the park's many restaurants. Parking is free with season passes, or available for a daily fee with single-day tickets. There is also a light rail stop and bus station next to the park's entrance if you want to avoid parking. • Elitch's is a fun affordable place to spend the day in Denver riding rides or at the water park. They offer a lot of what the big parks offer, like cute shops, thrill rides with pictures, water rides,...  more »

  • A good variety of rides, open all summer, and some of the spring and fall, too. There are roller coasters, carnival type rides, and a kiddie land section for smaller children. They also have a water park included with admission. On a hot summer day, a water park is the way to go! Staff has always been helpful and polite, and don't mind answering questions you may have. Even their disability access is fair. My son has a wheelchair, and almost every walkway we had to use was level enough not to create problems. And even tho we have to use the exit as an entrance, they do not let us "jump the line", rather, they give a return time to come back. Even the food is decent.
  • Friendly, clean, inviting. Loved the rides.only downfall? Lines to wait for rides, and watch your personals.. Things get stolen real quick and staff pretty much can't do anything about it. My suggestion? Take ONLY what you need. A family day of Fun!
  • It's ok... It's very expensive for what you get. Way more stores & carnival games than rides. $11 for a locker that only holds one backpack. $4 vending machines for water. I think most rides take WAY longer to load & unload than the ride takes. It was a company picnic for us so it was free but I don't think I'd ever pay what it actually costs to go. Huge shade shortage if you're waiting for riders too.
  • Poor customer service. I've tried to call them about five times now in the last hour and every time I hit zero for an operator, it cycles to the beginning again. All I want to know is if I can use more than one coupon at once. It doesn't have any restrictions on the actual coupon but I know once I get there and try to use it, they will limit it to one customer only.
  • The new quiet room and arm band priority ride accessibility for my autism spectrum family has been working out nicely. Customer service and security staff are the best and seem to really care. We have been season pass holders for the past two years & I hope more seasons to come.
