  • My kids are 5, 3, and 1 and they all can spend at least 4 hours in the Discovery Zone learning and having fun the whole time. We enjoyed many of the other exhibits in the museum. I especially loved the Egyptian mummies. The Space exhibit and Body exhibit are great for school aged children, but mine aren’t quite ready for the whole thing. They have a small section in each for smaller kids in case you have older kids and younger kids. The Discovery zone is absolutely amazing thought and now that we have seen most of the museum it’s our go to place for hours of fun. When the weather is nice we like to pack a lunch and eat it in the lawns or on the sky view terrace. The view of Denver and the Mountains is gorgeous!
  • This is an amazing place to take the family. Exhibits are well done and very informative. I highly recommend getting a family pass for the year, it is worth it! Planetarium was wonderful. Took my kids this past Saturday and they are begging to go again already. Recommend packing a lunch to save money. The cafe can add up quickly.
  • Hands down this has to be one of my favorite nature and science museums I have been to. Reasonably priced and many exhibits. It's not just the number either, it happens to be the quality of exhibits and also the size. There big, it seems everything they do is big here. they have a souvenir/retail shop and cafeteria area as well. They move people well in their ticketing area. Parking can be a bit hectic, especially if you want to grab a space close to the entrance (so arrive early-this museum is popular).
  • The Museum is the freaking best! I am a member and I go like 3 to 4 times a week! Just taking my time looking at the dioramas that they have on display and look for stuff that I missed the first time! And everybody that works there is so nice friendly helpful and knowledgeable! I love the imax because they are just 45 minutes movies (it's when you feel like going to the movies but not really)! I just with they would bring back the Rock-n-Roll show to the Planetarium! But I do recommend the museum especially for a first or second date!
  • Very good atmosphere, the high floors make me feel safe and at home. The science and biography in this place is outstanding. It makes me happy when museums like this actually know what they're talking about. Plus, they have exhibits that I honestly prefer. Sadly, the price is way too high and you almost need money for everything to be able to do anything. I wish it had more freedom for people who enter on free days or pay only the entrance fee. It is fun when I visit, I seek out all the gnomes and try to find easter eggs. It is a good experience for me and my family. Too bad there are so many people there, free day or not. All in all, it's OK. I love going there personally, but the prices are way too high.
