  • For the amount of money I paid for three of us to see museum and “Sue” I feel like it should have been more. While the dioramas were interesting you didn’t learn much about the animals inside each one.  more »
  • We are museum members who live out of town but try to get here when there is a new exhibit. This time also went thru several standard exhibits including the Egyptiam mummy's and gems. Museum...  more »
  • Due to the covid restrictions we got our ticket for a 3:20 pm entry. Even going in a bit early we did not have enough time to see everything. There are 3 levels and could have spent an hour on each....  more »

  • This place is incredible. It has so many different cool features. The wildlife exhibits are displayed very realistically & there's lots of buttons for little ones to push for sounds/ pictures. The gem exhibit is super cool. It's set up to look like you're going into a cave and there's tons of different crystals to look at. There's a cool mummy room. The IMAX is awesome. There's a discovery room for young ones that is SO MUCH FUN. It has a water table that shoots water in the air, a table that has a water/smoke waterfall in the middle, tons of cool magnets, puzzles, & building supplies, a play kitchen, a play theater, the list goes on & on. There's dinosaur skeletons and fossils. We discover something new about this place every time we visit because it is absolutely humongous. They have something for everyone to enjoy! It's truly one of our favorite places for my husband and me to take our 3.5 and 1.5 year old children.
  • Very nice museum! Wasn't very crowded on a Wednesday. Spent about 3 hours there and my 2-year old didn't get bored. He loved the Discovery Zone! Definitely felt I got my money's worth and would recommend, especially to those with young children!
  • Very safe museum! They have a neat collection of dead animals and rocks. Outside they have a great backyard with lots of trees and a lake and plenty of space for picnics. Inside they have a COOL big T-Rex and another sea dinosaur I don’t know the name of. The human body exhibit made my tummy queasy, but it also had lots of great things to see and play with. Unfortunately there are no live animal exhibits or fish tanks, which is disappointing, but they do have multiple whale skeletons. I enjoyed watching a movie in imax, but wish they had a wider selection of more popular movies... (maybe Star Wars or Jungle Book). I love the gift store! It has lots of fun things to buy!!! If I had more money I would have bought a geode or an ant farm. (So neat!) Overall I’m happy with my experience here and will probably come back!
  • This is a great place for families and kids of all ages! We have a membership so come frequently - the kids are always excited to see new exhibits but are equally as happy to revisit their favorite areas! This is also a go-to when we have guests and are looking for something indoors to escape the heat/cold depending on the season.
  • Amazing!! We spent a lot more time than planned and only got through a small part of the museum. Love the fact that the museum took two older buildings and built them in to the larger shell of the new building. Very clever.
