Where to stay in Denver

For a touch of class near all Denver's major attractions, book a room at one of the city's historical hotels, built during the late-19th century silver rush. Denver's oldest hotels feature opulent oak furnishings, silver chandeliers, and frescoed walls, as well as spacious rooms packed with high-tech gadgets. If you're planning your visit on a limited budget, consider the affordable hostels and bed and breakfasts located outside the central part of town. Alternatively, you can also stay at one of the mid-range hotels near the airport.

  • I don't remember the name of the gentleman that assisted me but it was seriously one of the most enjoyable shopping experiences in recent memory. I was shopping for a fishing rod, reel and tackle for me, a 45 year old beginner. I had an idea what I needed from some online shopping the night before but this guy shot me straight, didn't sell me stuff I didn't need nor more expensive equipment. He knew I didn't need to spend hundreds for a starter rig. He kept it affordable and gave me true insight. I wish I remembered his name (late 50's maybe, 6ft, gray hair, working Tuesday opening 6/13) because of him I'll shop there again soon even though it's 40 minutes from home. Thanks.
  • We would like to thank Bass Pro for providing the opportunity to train our dog in rattlesnake avoidance. We encountered a rattlesnake on the hiking trail today and thanks to our dog's rattlesnake avoidance knowledge none of us were bit. Anyone who hikes near the foothills with their dogs should consider taking their dog to the class.
  • They only had 1 single family bathroom open, because the women's and men's by the main entrance had flooded. A manger had explained to me that they had someone working on, but they had more security directing people away than repairman. Talk about a priorities.
  • they had my AssBlasters5000 premium outdoor portable ShitShack. thanks guys
  • Completely terrible service, tried calling to find out if they carry the lee hand press kit, kept getting directed to ammunition and nobody ever picks up the phone in ammunition, cabelas answered right away and was able to tell me they carry it and have it in stock, sad since bass pro is 10mins away and cabelas is 35mins but cabelas is the obvious choice since I can't even get ahold of anyone at bass pro to even tell me a simple yes or no smh
