  • There are a lot of places to eat and see, drink and window shop in but ultimately there are a lot of homeless, pan handlers and we saw some people in a fair amount of distress. This parade of hurting ...  read more »

  • Loved the 16th Street Mall. Over 100 restaurants and stores in a mile long boulevard. Free shuttles from end to end. Very clean and safe. Great Fun!
  • Always a pleasure to take a stroll in Downtown Denver/16th St mall. They have been making a lot of improvements. Many delicious food places. Near great places for entertainment. Interesting artwork to interact with. Something is always happening downtown.
  • Great place to go on a date or family fun. Walking, shopping, and entertainment in one place. Can be romantic if take a horse ride or eat at one of the fancy restaurants. Kid friendly places to choose from as well
  • Man, if Denver had lined this pedestrianized mall with local, one-of-a-kind businesses, this could have been a world-class attraction. As it is, too much of the 16th Street Mall is just .. well, just a mall. You can shop at H&M and eat at the Cheesecake Factory at any mall in your own hometown -- so why come here for more of the same? As night wears on, the panhandlers come out in droves -- some aggressive -- so if you don't have your Big City pants on, you might make this exclusively an afternoon stop. Hint: there are more local-only options at the far end, near Union Station.
  • The 16th street mall is really nice for lunches and other meals. The restaurant selection is very good, but other than restaurants, the store selection was not very interesting. There were not many local shops, or other interesting stores. There was an open roof mall with all of the standard mall stores (H&M, Forever 21, Hot Topic, etc...), but I really wanted to see local shops. Larimer Square was nice, and not far away. There were local shops there that were interesting, but not a very large amount of shops. There is a nice free bus system, too, on the 16th street mall.
  • If you are a Foodie, this is the place to be. So many cool places to eat and drink! It was impossible to settle on a place, even with only two of us. There was a farmers market/craft show that day which was fun and a great shopping experience. You must experience this once in your life.
