Denali, Denali National Park and Preserve

(4.7/5 based on 1,700+ reviews on the web)
Rising 6,168 m (20,237 ft) above sea level, Denali is the tallest mountain in North America and the center of Denali National Park. Also known as Denali, it has two significant summits. The taller South Summit is the third most prominent peak in the world. Five glaciers slide down the slopes of the mountain. Every year the park draws hundreds of thousands of visitors eager to take a close look at the mountain's majesty. However, you won't necessarily be able to see the peak; it's often completely obscured by clouds, even on a clear day. Use our Denali National Park and Preserve vacation builder to add Denali and other attractions to your Denali National Park and Preserve vacation plans.

  • I been there with my friends during summer. The air is so fresh, the view is awesome. A lot of wildlife..moosses, bears, eagles.  more »
  • A fantastic Park, would recommend renting an RV, this is the only way we could be some day inside. Take inventory before entering, then parked in the pitch that is assigned, if you book ahead I recommend the Teklanika River Campground, camping inside allowed the campers. Buses depart from here, you can do all the rounds up to Kantishna, the farthest point and get off for small walking tour through nature and animals, you can see bears that make depredations of blueberries. A show
