  • Loved this place. Immediately when you get out of you car you feel a sense of peace. It is very quiet and the staff are helpful and nice. The gift shop has plenty to offer. The restaurant was good and modesty priced (closes at 3). The only drawback is that it is in Florida and inevitably during the summer you will be dripping sweat. I went during the summer and loved it but will wait to return during the cooler months. Other than that it is a beautiful place and a must see if you are interested in Japanese culture.
  • Morikami is a beautiful Japanese garden that's well known to the locals. Right when you step out of your car and head toward the building, you feel at peace. The gardens are kept incredibility well manicured and well maintained that everyone can enjoy them. Make sure to bring your camera or changed photo as you'll want to take photos.  I also had lunch at the cafe which was very tasty.
  • One good birthday visit. Beautiful scenery, very informative and fulfilling. We did half of the trail due to changes being made but it was worth it anyway. The Cornell Cafe for lunch was very cost effective and delicious. You can sit indoor or outdoor. Nature speaks to you here.
  • I always have an amazing time when I visit the Morikami museum. As soon as you enter, it feels as though you have entered a zone of tranquility. The staff members here are extremely nice and friendly. The location is always clean and also never noisy. The trails are like you have drifted off to a foreign land and the exhibits are top notch. They have different festivals and celebratory events all year round to mix things up. If you have never been, make a stop here and you will not be disappointed.
  • A most awesome and beautiful place! The bonsai garden and farmhouse exhibit on the walk around the lake are great. If you are into gardens, the walk around the lake is spectacular! The main building, with the art exhibits area and the tea ceremony classes is fun, educational and very, very well done. Has a small restaurant on site- food is good, but if they're busy it might take a minute to be served. Of course they have a small tourist shop also ;) prices were not ridiculous and they had things that were actually worth buying. If I lived closer, I'd volunteer there-it's that beautiful a place!
