  • Visiting this place was very fun and informative. I had never knew it even existed until recently It is a great way to spend an afternoon. The employees are very enthusiastic and great at their jobs, especially considering they are all volunteers. The canal boat was well worth the trip.
  • We stumbled on this little gem last week. Great place to take the family for a bike ride. There are miles of paths, some gravel, some paved. There is a playground off the canal close to Washington St too.
  • I thought it was very interesting , all of the history & the boat tour , Also the staff there are really great and we found out they are all volunteers none of them are paid they just do it because they love it , Well I think that's really great and it make's this place even more special than it already is , I also loved the little history village & the tour of the historical mansion , So if you love history & little towns & enjoy talking with local's about their hometown & all of it's history Then this is a great place for you & your family :) !!!
