Our family selected Delaware State Park for our family vacation in the summer of 2016. We had never visited before. Very nice camp ground. Great treasure close to the city. We enjoyed many area attrac... more »
We stayed here with our motorcoach for a week. It was a great place to camp. There is no sewer hookup, but you can empty your tank when you leave. There is also no water hookup. Be sure your water tan... more »
I spend a lot of time at the Delaware State Park hiking, kayaking, eagle watching, swimming at the beach. The great thing about Delaware is it's easy to access, right on route 23 north of Delaware and... more »
Great lake for boating in general especially water-skiing and wakeboarding. Not crowded even on a June weekend in the afternoon and you can always find a calm shore. Not a lot of coves to hide out in and swim. Verizon cell coverage is very poor. Camp sites are good sides and many of them are wooded which is very nice.
This park was bigger than I was expecting. There's a huge lake, a beach and marina, and a couple of playgrounds. They also have a Little Free Library, which is awesome.
Park was clean, staff was helpful. Enjoyed the fishing and hiking. Quiet at night. Just look out for poison ivy.
I didn't dislike it but if this is how the state of Ohio takes care of this parks rest areas it truly is discouraging. Odors strong, leaves & toilet paper everywhere. Not maintained on a regular basis. More TP on the floor, none on the rolls. C'mon upkeep keeps our state parks loved w/high attendance.
We love coming here there is so much to do and it's a great place to spend time with family and friends.
