  • The Fort Delaware State Park on Pea Patch Island is a very interesting spot for a visit while you are in the area. It is unique and offers an insight into area history that you cannot find elsewhere.  more »

  • My Great-Great Grandfather was a Confederate prison held at Fort Delaware. Captured at the Battle of Wayneboro he was held from March 1864 until June 1864. 51st Virginia Infantry. It was eerie walking the place that he was held at 153 years ago.
  • Loved it. Wish I had planned more time to explore all. Great friendly and knowledgeable staff. Free parking, good restaurants close.
