  • Really cool place. Definitely worth the visit. Explore the fort. Learn from.the staff. Experience the history. The ferry ride is also entertaining and there are some nice restaurants and shops in town
  • Great place to take the kids for a day! Had fun looking for ghost, like on Ghost Hunters. Hiked the nature trail biting flies, but a good walk! Kids learned a lot about the history!
  • Closed 4th and 5th September 2016 because of storm warning. Please call before going.
  • If you have an opportunity to spend the day at fort Delaware, I highly recommend doing it. There's so much history here. The reenactors that are there can teach you so much. Plus the ferry ride to and from the island is very relaxing.
  • I went there on Tuesday for a fifth grade field trip. The reenactors there stayed in their role and made it feel like 1864.
