Really cool place. Definitely worth the visit. Explore the fort. Learn from.the staff. Experience the history. The ferry ride is also entertaining and there are some nice restaurants and shops in town
Great place to take the kids for a day! Had fun looking for ghost, like on Ghost Hunters. Hiked the nature trail biting flies, but a good walk! Kids learned a lot about the history!

If you have an opportunity to spend the day at fort Delaware, I highly recommend doing it. There's so much history here. The reenactors that are there can teach you so much. Plus the ferry ride to and from the island is very relaxing.
I love the fort over Delaware. My experience there was awesome. I seen it all. I went there in 2nd grade. I still miss it. But now I'm in 4th grade so sad face.😣
