  • This vineyard focuses on more of an Italian style, which you don't see very often in VA. Their pinto grigio is quite tart, which I found enjoyable. Their reds were quite a bit lighter than I am used t...  more »

  • Fantastic for dogs, they can run off leash, swim in the creek as you picnic. They have live music and the weekends and good food and, of course, wine. They have many different events throughout the year, we went to the grape stomping competition, lots of fun. There is plenty of free parking.
  • This place was great as far as atmosphere. They allow dogs, which is a huge plus. They also had live music doing cover songs while we were there (on a Saturday). However, we did a wine tasting and did not like any of the wines that we tried. Perhaps as their grapes age, their wines will improve as well.
  • I've been to about a dozen wineries in the Delaplane area, and this happened to be my least favorite. The outdoor area is beautiful, and that's the only redeeming quality. The bartenders were slow and not friendly. We waited at least 10 minutes, twice, between tastings. It was ridiculous! And the wines weren't very good, so it wasn't worth the wait. Many had a vinegar-y taste. I'm hoping it was the glasses and not the wines, but that didn't make the experience any better.
  • Visited this vineyard on our way home from a family reunion. Our tasting was great and the sommelier was very knowledgeable. Best spots to sit are between the vines at private table and down by the creek (although the hike back up the hill is rough!).
  • A charming setting in the country with very hospitable and kind staff. Unfortunately I am disappointed by the wines. Whites I tried had too much citrus and briny flavors on my palette. Reds didn't have a complexity to hold my interest.
