  • Great wines and good tour. It's a high end wine place, not for someone looking to stop in without a reservation or looking for $20 wines. The wines were delicious and the facility is beautiful.
  • We were literally asked to leave as soon as we walked in. Apparently, you must make reservations ahead of time in order to enter the faculty. Tastings are $50, by reservation only. You can't sit down unless you're part of the wine club. Delaplane Vineyards, a mile down the road, was welcoming, serene and all their wine was amazing. Don't waste your time on this place.
  • We have been to 60+ vineyards in Virginia and this is at the top of list. The wine is as good as any reds from California and everyone associated with the vineyard is fantastic. I have recommended RDV to about 20 or so people and we just joined this summer. I would highly recommend taking a tour and trying all of the wines. The special events are fantastic.
