  • Most of the negative reviews seem to be centered around not allowing kids or big groups. Quality wise, I’d put this on the upper end of Virginia wines. Great views, friendly staff. I’ll be back.
  • If there were a negative amount of stars available, I would have selected one of them. I would love to call them pretentious but that would be kind. First, let me say going to Delaplane Cellars was the whole reason for our selection of that area. I had driven by for years- but was traveling through so no drinking for me. I suggested it to my friends so I feel as though it is my fault they had to deal with the experience we had there. We were a group of four who had hired a wine tour company to drive and arrange our day. Deleplane clearly is trying to cultivate a sophisticated atmosphere by not allowing groups of 6 or more. And yes they enforce this as we heard them tell a group of 8. (I hope they split into two groups of four) We learned nothing not printed on the tasting menu. Nothing about the winery. When I did ask I question it was answered as curtly as possible. Oh and the wines. The whites (all of them were terrible) and the reds - honestly the last two reds were my favorite of the day but extremely over priced. And not worth going back for.
  • A great vineyard and easy drive from DC. The tasting room is inviting with a great view. The wine is enjoyable. The local goat cheese with spicy plum chutney is one of my favorite combinations.
  • This place may be nice but has a bunch of very rude people running their Facebook page. His negative comments as well as others have been deleted from their page as to not allow the general population to see just how rude they were. My friend was completely ignored and then this company call his fiancés boss. No good customer service here.
  • Great red blends with a nice tasting room that overlooks mountains. Can get a bit noisy inside after the wine gets flowing, but that's due to the space setup.
