  • I live near this beach park and go often. It is a true beach park with grassy picnic areas, play structure, and restrooms all steps from the beach in Del Mar. It's located in downtown Del Mar which me...  more »

  • Great park, visited from Arizona and it was away from the hustle and bustle of downtown San Diego. Dogs are allowed both on and off leash based on time of year. Parking wasn't an absolute nightmare and just a beautiful coastline. This is now my favorite beach.
  • Love this park and only reason not getting 5 stars is parking is so expensive. That said, plenty of green space for the kids to run and play, easy access to beach, and great sunset viewing. Lots of surfers in the area too. When the kids keep asking to go back, you know it's a good park.
  • Hidden Jewel in San Diego. Lower beach with plenty of sand. Raised grassy park area above that. Park toys / swings for small kids. Paid parking available but limited. Walking distance to downtown Del Mar (charming small beach town).
  • This is a great place to take the family for the day. There is a playground and lots of grass. The view is spactacular and there are lots of eating options near by.
  • The beach was fabulous. Great for kids, there is a lifeguard station and a policy that seperates older surfers from the beginers and waders
