  • Really enjoyed visiting with the birds. Lauren was very informative and you can see a true connection between her and them. A small non-profit program that cares for and finds homes for unwanted exotics, it's sad but really great that there is Free Flight to help!
  • This is a phenomenal experience. I've taken friends and grandchildren. Everyone has a great time seeing the beautiful and varied parrots. You can talk to them, feed them and hold them. Amazing!!
  • Wonderful place to visit & learn about our exotic feathered friends! Essentially a safe haven for birds that have come from numerous backgrounds & run by awesome volunteers who dedicate their time & love to give these birds the best lives possible, all while giving a fun experience to visitors & educating them on all aspects of these beautiful feather children. Donations of newspaper & things that can be used to make toys, such as wine corks, (not synthetic) & empty 6pck cardboard beer holders encouraged!
  • I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this bird sanctuary. All the volunteers were very friendly and showed me the proper way to handle a bird. I didn't think I'd be brave enough to do it, but I was able to get a few parrots to perch on my arm. I even purchased some food so I could feed them some grapes, kale, mandarins, and whatever else was in the bowl. It can get loud when many birds are all squawking at once -- usually because a new bird is boarding there while its owners are away -- but otherwise it was quite a peaceful and enjoyable place to spend some time on the weekend. The donation is reasonable, given that I spent over an hour there!
  • We came here on my daughter's field trip. It's not a big bird sanctuary, probably as big as a large backyard. But there are many birds, some on perches and some in cages. The expert was knowledgeable and for a little extra you can feed some of the birds.
