Wine is good and the music isn't too loud like some places. There's room to spread out and great views of bottoms and river bluffs. Look forward to trying the new vodka next time we visit. Very enjoya... read more »
Sugar Creek is always a favorite stop when we go on a winery trip to Augusta. Love the music, dance floor and fire pits!
Great place, great people. The music, one guy singing and playing guitar, was awesome. Plenty of seating with umbrellas. Went with two other couples and they loved it. You can bring your own snacks, b... read more »
Very pricey compared to other wineries in the area and beware because all of their wines are super sweet, not enjoyable at all. I guess that's why it's called "Sugar" Creek. Went for a Saturday night concert that we were supposed to have a reserved table prepaid for. They lost the reservation and when we did get a table it was in the grass not the concrete so we were swarmed with bugs. Bartender that night was a complete a-hole (older man with white hair, looked like an a-hole too), refused me service because I didn't have a wristband, was never given a wristband when we arrived. Wouldn't check my ID to prove I was of age to drink (I'm 25). Only reason it didn't get 1 star is because the band (Contagious) was good.
The drive was a beauty in itself. With both inside and outside seating, and owners/staff as nice as can be, I wouldnt hesitate to check this place out. Very well maintained, exquisite view, and reasonably priced wine. You cannot go wrong visiting here. We joined one of the tasting events. The wine was delicious and extremely well matched with the food. The food alone was worth the $$$ we paid!
Wow!!! The guy just profiled me because of my tattoos and kept asking us to pay up front for our tasting. Little does he know, but we buy lots of wine. His loss, as we will not be back.
Not a bad place, selection was sparse and priced pretty highly in comparison to other wineries in the area. Overall, not bad but not my favorite.
We came to Sugar Creek on a Saturday. The music was great. The crowd was not so tight- ass as other wineries that we went to. It was a good experience for first time winery visitors.
