  • A wonderful spot in the Pioneer Valley and close to 91 and Historic Deerfield. You can buy presorted boxes of chocolate, but I prefer to pick and choose among the delights on offer. I especially like ...  read more »
  • Uncle Charlie in CT thinks this candy store is the best! The variety and flavor can't be beat! Their ice cream is an addition.
  • For the sweet tooth lovers, this is a must.........Eye popping candy in every size, shape, form your little heart desires. Small shop loaded w/goodies. Oh my aching sweet tooth...chocolate heaven!!!
  • A nice place to get all kinds of treats. I discovered this place when I went on a quest for a good caramel apple. They have a chocolate-covered caramel apple that was pretty good. Not great. But they have a bunch of really interesting, good-looking chocolate confections. It's worth a stop if you have room for it in your diet.
  • The only thing better than chocolates, are chocolates you hand pick out from a selection of chocolates that are handmade 20 feet away from you. When you walk in, the smell will intoxicate you. The staff will help you and give you samples if necessary. Looking for a treat or a gift for someone, this is the place to go!
  • Great place to get candy. I make sure that my kids get their Easter candy here every year. Love the different chocolate they have.
  • The best choc ever. The only place I can find choc dipped wintergreen patties!!!! So good!!!
  • Richardson's makes some of the best candies and chocolates in the Valley. I know many who long for their truffles, nut barks, caramels, and brittles for special occasions. On that note, beware last minute Christmas and Valentine's Day shoppers: it is a mob scene, and the store front isn't large and there is limited parking. As if their chocolates and candies weren't enough, they also serve several flavors of Herrell's Ice Cream over the summer. I was disappointed the last time I visited Richardson's because they didn't have the particular indulgence I was hoping to find, a chocolate-dipped oreo. But honestly, who am I to complain? And as for the service, they are always friendly and helpful answering any questions. Because they make a lot of their products right there in the store, you can see the candy-makers at work which is an extra treat.
