  • Prison is definitely worth a look, plus there's a cool car museum attached to it. They also have a nice gift shop & when you buy your passes they're also good for an art gallery & some other museums.  more »

  • Wow! Hot damn! Only $10 to get into here and the other 2 neighboring museums! But could've easily spent hours in this one alone! Well worth the extra 30 min of driving to get here. Plan more than 3 hours for your total visit - there's a lot to see! Eerie and creepy... but fun, addicting, informative!
  • It's really cool and the history is all laid out so you can read it. My only problem is in the picture history building there's black mold everywhere and it's extremely obvious. While I understand that it's an old building, the plasterboard put up to hold the pictures is starting to grow some too. There really should be a warning. You get to see a piece of everything though and there are some artifacts put up that explains a lot. Excellent job in designing the layout for the museum transformation
  • The car museum is huge. The prison tour is self guided and there was a lot of information that was anecdotal. My family enjoyed this a lot! And, if you do go there, be sure to go the gift shop across the street. They had the most beautiful handmade jewelry, horsehair bridles, belts, riding crops, art, and blankets made by inmates to help repay their restitution!
  • Took a friend here and this place was very spooky and very cold! Ghost Adventures filmed here a few years ago. This place has lots of history, I recommend for people to watch the Ghost Adventures episode before going here.
  • It was very wild and interesting. Very much enjoyed my visit. Would like to go back.
