  • We were vacationing with extended family on Deer Isle this summer and the first place they wanted to take us was Nervous Nellie's. I was dubious because local kitsch is almost always disappointing, bu...  more »
  • The jams are good but the real find is the art in the woods. Take a short walk in the woods to see an artful use of reclaimed junk which is now someone else's treasure.
  • It is a long very rural drive to Nervous Nellies. We went on a rainy day and it was fun. The sculpture is whimsical. Make sure to read the history of some of the pieces. The jam and jelly is good. The...  more »

  • Okay, I have to admit that I arrived after they had closed. So why am I giving this place five stars? The place is part old west town, part found art and part, well I just don't know what to say, but it's well worth visiting
  • Delicious jams and jellies, fun little tasting room where you can buy coffee, tea, and treats, and the art work on the grounds is amazing. Well worth a visit, or frequent visits.
  • Definitely a fun place to visit. The location boasts amazing jams and jellies, but also Nellieville. Nellieville is a set of buildings and sculptures created by the founder of Nervous Nellie's, who is also an artist.
  • Friendly staff and great jams and jellies. Eclectic "junk" sculptures kept the kids entertained for hours.
  • What an awesome place!Peter Beerits talent and art is amazing to see! What a beautiful place to stumble upon!
